The Charles F. Menninger Society

Since its incorporation as a psychiatric center more than 79 years ago, Menninger has received support from thousands of generous friends whose gifts have underwritten Menninger programs while providing donors with significant tax savings. Menninger donors, in partnership with Menninger's Development Office, have contributed to:

• A clearer understanding of the intricacies of human behavior through research, 
• Developing more effective treatments
• Training mental health professionals in psychiatry, psychology and social work

In recent years, supportive members of The Charles F. Menninger Society have provided more gifts and contributions than at any other time in our history. Some supporters have been with us for more than 50 years. That level of giving is needed now more than ever.

Each year, some 5,000 individuals, families, corporations, foundations and other organizations from all 50 states and 16 other countries and territories share our vision. They are the members of The Charles F. Menninger Society. Their gifts have helped Menninger build a thriving organization sought out and emulated all over the world. Their support has helped Menninger carry on its mission to advance knowledge of the human mind. As a result of continued support Menninger is regarded as one of the best mental health hospitals in the nation.
