Visitation, phone calls & mail
All visits from family or friends should be discussed and prearranged with the primary clinician before the visit occurs. The purpose is to help the patient anticipate what the visit will be like and how to make it as positive and beneficial as possible.

Phones are available on the unit. Cell phones and cordless phones are not permitted. Times for making and receiving calls will vary from patient to patient. To make calls, patients are encouraged to use a calling card or to call collect.

Mail is delivered and picked up twice daily Mondays through Fridays at the unit. Menninger sells stamps and shipping services for packages.
